My Portion & My Cup (2005)

With the much-needed help of some of my closest friends (and the necessary blessing and good grace of my wife) I produced My Portion & My Cup. Twelve tracks of acoustic worship several songs my own and scripture passages being read over a variety of musical backdrops. The disc tells a part of the story God is telling with my life and has told with others, as the scripture passages were written by the likes of King David and the Apostle Paul, and some of the worship tunes were penned by worshippers elsewhere today. To Entertain (2003)

Folk/Rock/Pop. Produced in the summer of 2003, this album's too fresh for me to rightly evaluate its content. It's got lots. Journal entries, poems, Bible stories, prayers, and worship tunes. It's sometimes folky, sometimes rock, sometimes something else. Entirely cohesive, nonetheless. Makes a good listen and communicates much truth in great variations of style. Not So Complicated (2003)

The lyrics for these songs were written during a time in my life when much that had made sense to me suddenly didn't. Life changed. Or maybe I did. These songs tell that story. Or at least a part of it.

I recorded this album once in 1999, then again in 2002-03. This is partly due to the notion that art ought to be living and changing, but mostly because of the nagging inclination I had that I could probably do things just a little bit better now than I did back then. View tracks/listen Online.

Folk. An intimate presentation of acoustic praise, worship, and prayer, much of which was tracked live at Custom Studios spring of 2000. Produced in part by Dave Roise, this 1998 project incorporates full studio production with sincere and thoughtful lyrics regarding the bigness of God and the reality of our relationship with Him.
