Track 11:         Do You Believe

It was the FLY 99 convention at Estes Park in Colorado. Thursday night the guys and the girls split for two different sessions, and I was the guitarist for the girls' worship. When Pam Stenzel began speaking, I stepped outside. The sun was setting over the Rockies. While I watched it fall, I wrote this song. It's about the Father's love for His children, really, and His persistence in romancing us as our Lover - the God Whose name is Jealous. I came back in after her message and sang the song while they prayed.

Do You Believe

by Jeremy Erickson

Blue skies above

created to express my love

for you.

Mountains so high

still you're the apple of

my eye.

Do you believe?

Do you believe in my love -

the love I have for you.

O how you try

to catch every other lovers eye

and I

Can't help but cry

when i think of all the beauty

I have planned for your life.

Do you believe?

Do you believe in my love -

the love I have for you.

I'll reveal your beauty -

a romance that you have never known.

Because I know you're lovely,

and I'd love to spend some time alone

with you.

If you could see

the sunset I have made for you

and me

Would you believe

that the love I have for you is far beyond

your wildest dreams?

Do you believe?

Do you believe in my love -

the love I have for you?
